Number 5

Today Lauren had her 5th surgery for this disease they call thyroid cancer. This so called "easy cancer" has turned out to be quite a beast to get under control, but as always, we remain hopeful. The fabulous doctor removed 13 lymph nodes and 3 of them were confirmed cancerous, which is what we were expecting. Now we wait....
